	The Legislative Scholarship was designed to provide financial assistance to New Mexico residents who want to attend NMMI. Every year, each of the 112 Legislators has a scholarship available to award to a worthy NM resident. The Legislators must select an applicant or cadet who lives in his/her legislative district. Each scholarship is valued at approximately $3,600 per year! All NMMI applicants are encouraged to apply for the scholarship. Once awarded, the scholarship is renewable for up to four years if the cadet maintains the basic academic requirements.
