How do I use Outlook on another computer or in a lab?
Moderator: compserv@nmmi.edu (inherited from parent)
IS should set up all employee machines with the correct settings for Outlook (not Outlook Express) to work on our network. What some users and cadets find is they would like to use Outlook on another machine or lab machine, but don't know how to set it up, here's how:
Start Outlook*, you will be prompted to setup a new Email account Select "Microsoft Exchange Server" for the type of server, then Next Microsoft Exchagne Server: TEDDY-EXCHANGE Use Cached Exchange Mode: check if you will use this machine again User Name: (your NMMI username) That's it, no Advanced settings or other items need to be configured. Next/OK/Accept through the rest.
*If you system is damaged or will not let you open Outlook at all, these settings can be found through Control Panel | Mail also.
